Our story began in 1974 when Coach I.M. Ibrahim, a Clemson soccer legend, invested his savings in a small downtown shop selling Adidas shoes. With the dedication of his wife, Julie Ibrahim, that little store quickly became a go-to destination for Clemson fans, outgrowing its space twice before finding a permanent home in the historic Clemson Theatre in 1984. As the demand for Clemson gear grew, so did we—expanding to a second location and solidifying our reputation as the ultimate stop for Tiger fans heading into town. Although Coach "I" is no longer with us, his wife Julie’s leadership continues to ensure that his indomitable team spirit lives on in everything we do.

Coach Ibrahim wasn’t just a championship-winning coach—he was a visionary. Known as the "Father of Clemson Soccer," he led the Tigers to two national titles and 11 ACC championships, cementing his legacy both on and off the field. But
his impact didn’t stop there. Coach Ibrahim believed in bringing people together, whether through sports or shared traditions, and The Tiger Sports Shop became a natural extension of that philosophy.
